Starbucks gift card

MY DH has several Starbuck's gift cards.   Would he be able to use them to pay for his coffee on the Escape?   I wasn't sure if it was always charged to your OBC or if you could use a gift card to pay for it.

You can use the gift card or the app on the ships that have a 'real' Starbucks (most of the Breakaway, Breakaway+ ships).

Oh that's nice to know that I can use the app.

 

Question though, if I don't have WiFi service, will I still be able to use the app? I imagine they won't offer free WiFi like Starbucks on land, right? 😄

I don't use the app, but no, they have the same wifi as the ship. It's quite nice you can use the cards though.

I read somewhere that you can't redeem your stars for drinks but can still get stars from your purchase... but as mentioned, we'd need wifi for that...
