BTB cruise different ships & port

Cruising out of port canaveral for week in October, then day of return, jumping on another ship but out of port of Tampa. Recommendations to get from Port Canaveral to Port of Tampa? Will not have a car, but if able to pick up and drop off different locations without large charge willing to do that.

You can easily rent a vehicle after your first cruise ends in Port Canaveral and drop off the vehicle in Tampa approximately two hours later. You would normally rent the vehicle for the minimum twenty four hour time period. Most of the rental vehicle offices are located in Cape Canaveral, just south of Port Canaveral.

Hertz has a hotel location very close to the port, and Enterprise in Ybor City is not too far and should shuttle.  If you drop the car at TPA airport a taxi to the port will be about $25+tip and Uber or Lyft should save you a few dollars.  With typical traffic delays through Orlando, I would plan on the trip taking closer to 2.5-3 hours.

you may want to look at a shuttle service that picks you up at your first port and drive you to the next port across the state.  It will be more expensive than renting a car; but you won't have to worry about picking up a car or returning it.  Plus you have stress free day, since you won't have to drive either.
