Has ANYONE been 'temperature checked' at Bayonne, Cape Liberty in the last few months?

Based on a filing I just read, it appears that BOARDING can be denied by RCL if you have a temperature readings that equal or exceed 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

That temperature can be caused by MANY things other than COVID and kids can be at 100.4 as a normal range?

Unfortunately, the CDC defines a FEVER (regardless as a cause) as anything => 100.4 so I guess you can' blame the Cruise Lines.... THIS IS WHY I AM WONDERING IF THEY TAKE TEMPERATURES?

Last week. Well, technically I got on board two weeks ago and got off last week.

We were there in May and June and never experienced a temperature check. Ditto for friends who just returned from sailing from Cape Liberty two weeks ago.

Did they ever do temperature checks since the restart, at least for cruises leaving out of US ports?

In March was also not tested.

 

So from the responses it appears at least in 2022 this was not something that was done.

I was really worried that  had to bring 'ice' to the port to ice my head as my lifetime avg body temp is a little above 100 degrees!!!!!

A fever for me, according to my Doc is above 101.6

Just standing in the outdoor heat alone will raise everyone's body temp, so it's a good thing they don't or they'd have to turn everyone away!😆
