Hey, well I’ll be there. Does anyone ever go to the lgbtqia meet ups in the evening? When I went in April my boyfriend wanted to go to the casino and not much else. We missed both the shows because he was winning at the time. So I’m looking forward to some time for me.

I’ve gone to them.  No host so it’s hit or miss, using gaydar to figure out who is there for the meet up.

i’m leaving my partner home too, I prefer cruising solo so I can do whatever, whenever.

Can I just say in this safe space… the fact that other cruisers (from the Facebook page) are telling you that the information you are presenting from NCL about our testing because of Canadian requirements is just absolutely delightful to read.

yes NCL dropped their requirements however they still have to abide by the requirements of anywhere they travel. . . Maybe the confusion will lead to a less crowded ship 😂

Hah!  Yeah, I’m going to stop correcting.  I mean it says what it says.  We still need to test.  But I’ll stfu and let them figure it out.  I don’t know why I feel compelled to respond. 😉

Because you’re probably a much nicer person than I am.

I just hate to see the people who are so excited by this. I feel like NCL was playing things so safe and now they are just like hey come aboard, it’s all over.

Not nicer, it’s actually the part of me that likes a good fb fight.;). Then I remember I have to share a ship with them so I edit to a nicer version of what I want to say!

Im happy Canada still require vaccines.  Testing is kind of false security since you can be positive the day after you test negative, but I’m ok with testing even if it is a PITA with proctored home tests etc.

I’m hoping that since this is the week after Labor Day that it’s a fairly quiet cruise in general. I booked it knowing that the little ones were back to school. And vacation season was over.

when I went in April it was about 60% full on my sailing and so it was never too busy except the afternoon on sea days. But on port days it was a ghost town. It was so nice the day we went to Great stirrup Cay that I didn’t even get off the ship. I just took the whole place to myself.

I went on this same itinerary on Anthem of the Seas right after Labor Day maybe 4-5 yrs ago. Not too many kids, hoping for the same with this one ( that one was 9 days though, more sea days).  I’m going off the ship each port day, but not the full day, so hoping to get some ship time as well.

I don’t have kids, so the fewer the better!
