Cruisers got a notice (email/text) that embarkation will be late and don't go to the port until they hear something by 8am tomorrow. Anybody know what's going on?

Track the ship.  It's coming in at 0130 local time

So, apparently they're having propeller problems, ran into a storm, Coast Guard held them up at the mouth of the river, and won't be arriving in New Orleans until 12:30. Boarding pushed back 5 hours and $20 onboard credit to cover missed lunch.

We had heavy rain yesterday morning nothing major, rest of yesterday was perfect , and again no explanation to us which is stupid, problems happen but no reason to not keep passengers updated, and again if they would have informed us last night would have been glad to stay in casino much later and give them more of my money.

Plus carnival could have informed passengers last night, gave free internet to passengers needing to change flights might have had a better chance to revised flights home, but hey wait till 7:00 am when you are suppose to be docking and then tell passengers it will be 12:30 PM

We were on the ship.  I understand delays happen but would have liked a heads up when they knew we were going to be delayed .  We could have stayed up later Saturday instead of packing and slept in on Sunday.  We had a wonderful trip and cruise director, Leon, was the absolute best!  Communication on Sat/Sun could have been a lot better though.

Agreed! We had an amazing trip! I confess I was a bit worried after reading about long lines and bad service. We saw none that seemed out of the norm. 10 minute wait for Guys at 12;00 noon is expected and a 15 minute wait for pizza at night seemed on par. Would have liked to have slept in and did go back for a nap after breakfast! LOL
