Is there a chance to do some ballroom dancing on the Island Princess?

We like to do some ballroom dancing when possible. The last 2 Princess cruises we were on recently, they have a pre-recorded ballroom music session in one of the lounges every night. Is this venue offered on the Island Princess at all? Do any of the live bands play any ballroom music during their set so we can do an occasional Waltz, Foxtrot, etc? Is there a lot of other social dancing during this cruise? Any  Princess daily activity schedule you can post here is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I cannot answer your question definitively, but I would be surprised if they did not have *some* type of ballroom dancing available.  I have never done it but I have noticed it on many past cruises.

I have seen couples dancing in the Wheelhouse Bar when I have been walking past.

Just got off Island Princess.  The Wheelhouse Bar had Crimson Duo, a woman with a very nice voice backed by a guy playing electronic music.  Many couples enjoyed dancing to their music and the floor was never crowded.  We enjoyed just listening to them.  Explorers had the faster music and more crowds.  Hope the Duo is still there for you!

We've always been able to dance on the ships.  Island has wheelhouse and explorers, I believe, both of which have floors and often bands playing.

Most of the ships that have the Wheelhouse still offer ballroom dancing. The newer ships, like Royal and above really did away with the wheelhouse. There is still some ballroom in the center atrium, but it's tile floor instead of wood.

Apparently Ailene and Sticks are a duo on the Island Princess now.  They are excellent and play a decent amount of ballroom music.  On the Ruby they were in the Wheelhouse.  On Discovery, the atrium.
