Early baggage drop in Barcelona - Valiant Lady

Hi all,

would anyone know if we can drop luggage early and come back later ? I’m asking as our flight gets us in BCN around 9.30 and our embarkation time is 13.30.

we could do with not having to faff around with our luggage during that time …

Great question!  I was wondering the same thing as we would have to check out quite a while before our boarding time and I know we can store at the hotel, but might be easier to just take them to the port.  Pros n cons to that though too.

You can drop luggage early at Miami.  Sorry, I don't know about Barcelona (yet).

I actually booked a secure luggage locker in town for this purpose with the assumption that this was not an option.  Maybe go that route?

We arrived at the port in Barcelona in July just before midday and sat in the shade near the terminal. There were lots of passengers around,  they were checking in luggage (we only had cabin bags so didn’t). It didn’t look they had just started doing this, it wouldn’t surprise me if they had started this much earlier as there will be plenty of people arriving early and they weren’t keen on people milling around the terminal, we got sent away when we got too close! We saw staff approaching people with suitcases and directing them to the baggage check in.
