phabric Posted August 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2022 I am Canadian. Will be flying Toronto to Vancouver Friday, August 26. Alaska cruise - August 27, Vancouver, Canada to Sept 3, Whittier, Alaska . The ship has all USA ports. I will fill out ArriveCAN 72 hrs (Wednesday) before arriving back to Vancouver Canada. Fly - Sept 3, Anchorage to Vancouver, 3 hr layover, Vancouver to Sept 4, Toronto. I don’t think I need to fill out the ArriveCAN, since I am Canadian and not stopping in any Canada ports. Am I correct??
Fouremco Posted August 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2022 For your one-way cruise North to Whittier, there is no GOC requirement for you to make an ArriveCAN submission, but it is possible that your cruise line might request one. Best check with them. The fact that you are Canadian is immaterial. For your return from Anchorage to Vancouver you will definitely need to make a submission prior to the flight. Enjoy your cruise!

Citizenship has nothing to do with the need to complete an ArriveCAN submission. Everyone entering Canada must complete a submission.
