ThaNectar Posted August 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2022 (edited) For the unvax'd.. I understand they have to present a negative test taken within 3 days of sailing. Do these still have to be proctored? I'm assuming yes but didn't see anything on carnival site except "present a negative test" Thanks "Unvaccinated guests or those who do not provide proof of vaccination must present the results of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within three days of embarkation. staceyglow Posted August 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2022 (edited) Yes. How else would you be able to prove you were the one who took the test? Edited August 15, 2022 by staceyglow

An unproctored test is worthless for proof. You could be positive and just bring a test your friend took for you.

Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted August 15, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2022 Check-in agents don't want to be handed a plastic sandwich bag with two used home covid tests showing negative results. (it did, and does happen). These passengers were sent out to get an on-site lab administrated covid test costing $100 each. (plus about 90 minutes of their time).
