Mid September Cruise ,what’s open?

We are cruising Alaska mid September and realize this is end of the season. What might we find already closed for the season,such as restaurants and shops?

We are stopping in Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, Juneau and Icy Straight.

Even though the chances for lousy weather increase in September some cruise lines are actually starting to extend the Alaska cruise season.  There are some sailings in October.  You will likely find some of the seasonal shops preparing to close and are holding their end of the season clearance sales.

It is true that mid to late September will find businesses closing down and having sales. This happened to us twice and we had a great time!
