10/31 Odyssey of the Seas Transatlantic Suite upgrade question

Trying to understand why Royal Caribbean is offering Royalup bidding 

across virtually all suite classes, when their webpage search shows

all suites are completely sold out and unavailable.  About a month

ago all cabin searches came up unavailable for this cruise.

Do I really have a shot at an upgrade or is this just some kind 

of I.T. practice tool in place.  Looking forward to this cruise 

and would really consider bidding on a suite if this is legitimate.

It is legit. Last minute cancelations, delayed flights that cause some to miss the ship, denied boarding due to covid, GTY suites that are being filled, other suite class guests doing the Royalup.  No reason not to bid if you really want to Royalup, be forewarned you get what you get and there is no going back.

Marketing and system on auto pilot - Royal Up offers don't depend on available inventory.
