It's very similar to Viking Homelands. Some slightly different ports. Have heard good things about it.

See if anyone did a cruise review. Link at top of page . We are doing this sailing June 2023. It is only being offered twice . Originally it was the Russia and Baltic itinerary back in 2021.

This is only my biased opinion (worked as a tour guide in Scandinavia for 18 years), but if it is your first trip in this area, Homelands would be a better choice, IMO 🥴. Even with the elimination of St. Petersburg, Tallinn and Helsinki (Oslo is a great “substitution”) , I would still prefer Homelands. Other opinions?

We are booked for July 2023–booked before the changes.  I was pleased by the addition of Oslo, but I will miss the Finland and Estonian ports.  I was not sad about losing St. Petersburg.  Happy to be less than a year out.
