As a matter of United States law, yes you can. The regulations implementing the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 include certain standards as to the accessibility of buses. Among which is the regulation at 49 C.F.R. § 38.159 that requires “[a]ll vehicles covered by this subpart shall provide a level-change mechanism or boarding device (e.g., lift or ramp) complying with paragraph (b) or (c) of this section and sufficient clearances to permit a wheelchair or other mobility aid user to reach a securement location,” and that “[l]ifts shall accommodate persons using walkers, crutches, canes or braces or who otherwise have difficulty using steps.”

The regulations generally require that accessible buses be used as a matter of course, though in some cases “equivalent service” may be provided. Some of the rules are a bit technical, but generally the bus company has to offer a person using a walker the same service as everyone else. See 49 C.F.R. § 37.101 et seq. You may want to provide advance notice to the bus company that you will need an accessible bus to accommodate your mobility aid. The name of the bus company that operates the “Blue Bus” is M&M Tours Limited.

Many disability advocates can provide further information on the requirements of American law with respect to the transportation of people with disabilities.
