Hey there! I just got on board and went straight there. A handful of people already raided the bookshelf. Could t find anything they stood out. I tried. 😂

I think Miracle is the same class of ship as Legend. We also cruised during this exact time frame also --- so you should be able to see a bit of fall color! Loving the train ride. DW would enjoy being able to do that to ports in FL.   Perfect time to head to Alaska, IMO.   So will follow along.

We’re all on board. The wheelchair process took a while. There are a lot of people who think it is a shortcut and we’re complaining they could’ve walked faster. The staff member bless his heart told them “if you can walk the stairs then you don’t need a chair” 😂😂

 

the ship is gorgeous so far. I went straight to Java blue. The library is closed for a private function now. Looks like several officers. my friend already is crushing on one. 😂

The duck is gone! Obviously the books were moved!

We’re now dining! We do anytime dining so we’re not on a set schedule. Sadly one of our members cannot use the Hub app as she forgot her Apple password so she can’t download. So she’s gonna meet up with another one in our party and they’ll book for her. 
 

we all got reservations for 6pm to the Nick & Nora steakhouse on the 11th (day 7). This is the fjord day. It should be fabulous. 
 

in the main dining hall they no longer have straws. The ladies are happy they have a Filipino waiter and they’re all speaking in Tagalog. 😀

 

we got an amazing aft table for anytime dining this time we have a beautiful view of California behind us as we leave.

First appetizer for me is the vegetarian lasagna. Never seen it before on the menu. It’s so good!!! 

 

Four of us ordered calimari (not me) and they all hated it. The panorama was much better according to them. They said it taste like boxed and microwaved calimari. 
 

The last got a salad and loved it.

I got the Indian special that is vegetarian. The aloo is spicy and perfect! The rice is perfect and everything tasted so amazing. 
 

 

everyone else got salmon and they stated it is perfect!!! 

 

I might ask for my rice. One of the ladies stole it 🙃

Big news! We saw several whales! They were far off but we saw their water squirts in the air! So amazing! I couldn’t get it on video sadly. 
 

This is my first gold sailing. I got a nice pin today welcoming me to the gold club!

 

I guessed at the Art club there was a Thomas Kincaid painting. Simply gorgeous. We had to guess the price. I guessed $1850! Virtual cruisers what’s your guess?

 

I got my first stamp on my art event passport. Has anyone done this? Do you feel it’d worth doing? Do the paintings sell for a lot? My walls are bare but I don’t have a lot of money 😂 if you’ve done this. How’s the scavenger hunt? How’s the final price?

Stay away from the art and that company.  Waste of time and a rip off.    There's lots of bad stories over the years here on CC.

We just got back to our cabin. We saw a beautiful service dog working hard. Missing our dog. 
 

Lidia our steward took care of our cabin when we were at breakfast. The dog is fantastic. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

If you’re not planning to buy a painting and have some free time, there’s no harm in attending the art events. I’ve never attended, but my SO attended many and has a small free piece of art that he admires.
