esimon Posted September 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 7, 2022 where can I find pricing for all the 'extras' on the new Prima - looks like there are many - we do small ships without the holabaloo - have no idea what this might run
hallux Posted September 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2022 There hasn't yet been a revenue cruise, not sure anyone has documented everything yet as some things are not fully operational. There is some discussion in the 'Everything...' thread regarding cost for darts, go-karts and mini golf (which appears to be a really cool advanced/electronic version that NCL is licensing).
weltek Posted September 7, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2022 To my knowledge, there isn't an easy list for the Prima, though maybe someone has put one together. This is the NCL official list for all their ships: https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/cruise-faq/cruise-fare-includes If you haven't sailed NCL before, note: -There is a daily service charge. https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/cruise-faq/what-is-onboard-service-charge -If you take the promos like the free beverage package or free nights of specialty dining, you still have to pay the taxes and fees. Read the T&Cs carefully so you know what you are paying/not paying for: https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions You will pay $19.80 pp/day in gratuities at the time of booking if you take the promo beverage package, and the amount for the promo specialty dining package varies...see that T&C link above. -Starbucks is not included. General coffee at the MDR, buffet, etc. is included. -Specialty dining is entirely optional. There are plenty of free Main Dining rooms and alternate venues. -Room service is extra, except for continental breakfast (though you should tip your delivery person). https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/cruise-faq/norwegian-cruise-line-now-charging-room-service So, based on the number of nights you are looking at, and if you'll take any of the "free promos," you can calculate exactly what it will cost you if you don't do anything other than free things on board. Fare+taxes+daily service charge+any auto-grats on "free perks" you decide to take (you can decline them). Most shows are still free (with the exception of anything billed as a dinner show/wine pairing), as are some of the basic activities like the pool, slides, shuffleboard, darts, ping pong, watching demos, and use of the gym equipment. As I said, there are a sufficient number of free dining venues for each meal and even a place for very free late night snacks. If you want to indulge in casino play, order room service, enjoy a private beach club area, the spa, fitness classes, the racetrack, wine tastings, many nights of specialty dining, getting those pictures they took, or taking classes like sip & paint where there are materials or alcohol involved, you'll be paying much more.

The current cruise is a revenue cruise... Just the one from Reykjavik to Amsterdam was invitation only. steamboats
