booking flight home

My choices are few.....we get into port at 7:00 a.m. (Port Canevral), we can either get a 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. or 8:15 p.m. flight.....which would you pick?

Pack light, carry your own bags off, take Art's Shuttle or a private car to the airport, and you'll make a 12:30 flight.

If those were my choices, I would do either:

 

1) Get off the ship ASAP and you should make the 12:30 flight

 

or

 

2) Rent a car and spend the day in Orlando, then take the 8:15 flight

 

or

 

3) See if you can get a flight out of Melbourne (MLB) which is closer than MCO.

Well, that is certainly short and too the point.

We took our time getting off the ship, had trouble finding our luggage, picked up our rental car at 8:15, and still managed to get to the Orlando aiport by 9:00, in plenty of time for our 11:40 flight.

 

Having said that, I would go with the 12:30 time, just to be on the safe side. You don't want the stress, after coming off a cruise vacation, of worrying about making your flight, especially if there are long lines to get through security, etc.
