Uber at FLL???

Can I just go to the Uber pickup area and get a driver to take me to our hotel without using the app?

 

Will they accept cash?

 

I know I can download the app but I'm "old school"  and prone to making typos so I prefer not to use them if possible.

Just grab a cab. They will be plentiful.

Uber drivers are not allowed to sit in the ride share area. They must be picking someone up which means they had someone use  the app. From the Uber web site: Yes, you can pay with cash. Before requesting a ride, go to the Payment section in the app and select Cash. At the end of your trip, pay cash directly to your driver.

If your unsure about using Uber or Lyft stick with a cab. There's always plenty of them at FLL.
