TwoWestAussies Posted September 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2022 Hi Everyone, I am monitoring the price of my cruise for March 2023 and notice that the current special that Royal Caribbean is offering, calculates to less than we paid, however, the price of the cruise is slightly more, but when you include that they are including $200 USD on board credit, this brings the overall price to approx. $100 less than we originally booked for. Is this worth contacting Royal Caribbean for? Would they give us a small amount of OBC to make up the difference or should I just monitor the overall cost and ignore any OBC that are being offered? Thank You, I hope this makes sense.

It all depends on how your time and some potential aggravation is worth to you. Assuming you can get price drops easily on an Aussie booking, that is probably worth an exploratory call. RandomUser123 Posted September 12, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2022 It never hurts to call to see what they can do if anything. I had to recently call them for another issue and there was no wait time to reach an agent so go for it and see what happens.
marvelous35 Posted September 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2022 If you reprice your cruise, they will reprice it at the current rates with the current OBC offer. The one caveat: sometimes part of the OBC are only available for new bookings, so definitely ask before repricing it.
