Priority check in for Key

Per Royal's app, I have a 1 pm time for check in.  I bought the Key, thinking that it would be helpful for priority boarding.  I'm concerned that 1 pm check in will mean that I will not have the perks of Chops lunch and carry on drop off by the time I board.  I haven't cruised since pre-pandemic, and that was as a suite guest, so I'm just trying to adjust my expectations.  

 

How long does the lunch for key members last?  Am I going to be pressed for time or miss it completely?  The priority boarding was one of the big reasons I bought the key package, and it seems like a waste of money now.

My email say's lunch for those with the Key are from 12pm to 1:30pm. This is for Symphony. It said do not arrive any later than noon so I assume even though you have a 1pm checkin you could show up earlier.

Did you receive an email when you booked the Key, or is this a later email?

From what I understand you will receive an email telling you to be at the port 11-11:30.  I work at Port Everglades and we normally have approx. 50-75 Key guests when we start boarding at around 11:00.

I got the email last week. Approximately a couple of months after booking the key.

Is there a separate line for The Key such as Suites or just general line?

Just let the agent know you have the key and they will direct you into the terminal.  There is a big blue sign that says The Key.

We have the Key as well for our sailing this coming Sunday.  I got an email this past Tuesday explaining about the Key and telling us to come for boarding at 11:30. Without the Key our boarding time was 1:30
