Doing eastbound T/A in May 2023 on Anthem will Ponta Delgada be open on the Sunday we visit?

Or will it all be closed down? So there is no point in going ashore if it is? But with being a sunday and them needing the money maybe it will be open?

So it stands to reason it should be next year then which is good to know as we will only ever go there once. Is it far from the ship to the centre of the town?

Our experience is that it was open. It's a great stop to get off, wander around and have a meal or at least a sweet treat

Downtown was mostly closed on a Sunday when we were there.  You can get a reasonable tour and visit some of the sites around the island.

The ship docks right opposite the main seafront road where there are cafes and also a very little supermarket where you can pick up things you may of forgotten to bring, also sells multi packs of sodas. Also a couple of the cafes have internet available 😊
