galveston gal Posted September 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2022 Can the balcony dividers be opened between cabins traveling together?
skynight Posted September 30, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2022 Yes in most cases. The divider opens at the cabin wall and the opening is about two feet wide. Wide enough to pass between, but not wide enough to make one large balcony. Bring a bungee or some rope ties. When the ships get older sometimes the latch becomes misaligned and may not fully hold open.
JF - retired RRT Posted September 30, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2022 Watch for the fire door separation. You can tell if adjacent cabins are on a fire door by the cabin numbers. If you choose a cabin in the 400s and the adjacent cabin is in the 500s or the 300s, there is a fire door in the hall. The balconies will not have the tiny for access.
