I am not intending to start a whole discussion about the terrible storm, but has anyone heard from Crusing Pashmina?

I can’t believe that I was mentioned on CC! This shows that we really are a community and it gave me a sweet little boost at a time when things are pretty terrible. I am homeless, bedraggled and still too stressed to be able to think straight. What I do 100% know is that in very dark times people do pull together and try to help. Our wonderful governor, the National Guard, the Coast Guard, total strangers have all come in to provide services and essential morale support.

 

My house was torn up and totally flooded. and has mud and mold on everything from the floor to about 18” up. The best estimate I have heard is that it will take at least 2 months to restore the house to a safe condition. Of course I am far from alone. Some people have literally lost everything. 

 

Even when I am the most confused and frightened I know that I have friends who will take me in, and I can share ….only to this group…..that I will be back on the beautiful Silver Moon in December!

CP. so glad to hear you are all right.  Unfortunately, we will be getting off the Moon right before you board.  I hope you have a good cruise and can return to your home when you get back.

After everything you’ve been through, you need and deserve that voyage (and Silversea’s pampering) in December.
