Port of Tampa

We get off the ship in Tampa. Our flight isn't until mid afternoon....It looks like the aquarium is right across the street from the port...Can we go there and store our luggage while we tour the aquarium? After that...What is the best way to get to the PIE airport? Uber? Taxi? or is there a shuttle that would run?

I have read that if you go to Guest Services they will watch your luggage while visiting the aquarium. There also is the Tampa History Center located just a block away from the port also. Columbia Cafe at the history center has some excellent Spanish food. Sparkmans Warf is also located right next to the port with many eating options and shops. As far as getting to PIE I would suggest Uber or Lyft.
