How late can you add another person to your room?

Asking for a friend.  Like the title says, when is the latest you can add someone to your stateroom? They would be going from 3 people - 4 but the room type is good for 4.
Will be sailing out of the US if that makes a difference.

Thanks,

Do not assume that another person can be added to the cabin.

The request may be denied if the life boat station for that cabin is full.

Make sure that the Terms and Conditions on the MSC website is read and understood before making changes to the reservation.

Thanks,

I'd call and discuss.  If it's after final payment it could be "a disaster".  Even before, it may change the pricing/promotions.  I've had to cancel and rebook 3 times (same cruise...same cabin) because the reps have limited knowledge.  Just be careful....what you think is "simply going from 3 to 4" isn't so simple.

I think if that is the case they will just opt to stay with the original plan.

If you booked via MSC you need to call them, if you booked TA you need to ask them.
