Westerdam in FTL on Saturday

Anyone know why the Westerdam is in Fort Lauderdale today (Saturday)? I saw it from another line's webcam (Carnival Liberty). Thanks!

I think it is the Zuiderdam!!

Both the Zuidyand the Westy were in Ft. Lauderdale today. Westy is on an odd schedule because it was chartered last week and will also be chartered this coming week.

I just got off the Coral Princess today. She was docked parallel to the Westerdam.

 

We had sailed on it in November.

You're correct she is on a full ship Charter. She and Zuiderdam are both on Charter today as well. Zuiderdam will return next Saturday and Westerdam will be back on schedule and will return next Sunday.

 

The Westerdam has been on Charter for the past two sailings and the Zuiderdam has been on Charter on and off in the past couple of weeks.

 

Yes. It is normal. Many organizations do this several times a year on different lines.
