whee-sailing Posted October 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Apologies for this really basic/naive question, but for snorkelling excursions such as these... https://www.celebritycruises.com/pcp-excursions/kralendijk-bonaire-tours/samur-sail-klein-bonaire-beach-and-snorkel?excursionItemID=100000004095560211 https://www.celebritycruises.com/pcp-excursions/bridgetown-barbados-tours/swim-with-turtles-shipwrecks-snorkel?excursionItemID=100000004095196066 ...what do I do with my belongings/change of clothes? Are you expected to take them with you in a dry bag while you snorkel or do they have a (secure?) place where you leave your things? Thank you! Tmc1512 Posted October 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2022 (edited) Usually, when a boat is involved, you just leave your things in a dry bag on the boat when you snorkel. Sometimes, I stay on board, no one seems to go in the bags. I usually only bring tip money. You could also buy a dry container to take with you, if you are concerned. I have a little necklace one that holds ids and $ and I tuck it into the top of my suit or float vest thing. whee-sailing Posted October 15, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Thank you. I wasn't sure because the snorkelling isn't off the boat for the one, at least. Glad to know I won't need a big dry bag.
Tmc1512 Posted October 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2022 The deck if on a boat gets pretty wet, so a beach bag or such that is lined or plastic to keep clothes dry would be useful. Have fun!
Arizona Wildcat Posted October 15, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2022 I always took a black full size trash bag. Also left valuables on board. Took seapass, a credit card and a copy of passport in a zip lock bag.
