Transfer voucher upgrade

We have a voucher for a transfer from the pier to the airport on debarkation day. The voucher says it can be upgraded to a departure day excursion. How do you do that? I called RCCL and they said to contact my TA to handle it. I called the TA and they said the voucher should automatically be applied when I book the excursion online.

Does anyone know if that is true?

Very unlikely, but you can confirm by trying to check out with the excursion in the planner.
