CB=Caribbean Princess; Why?

Prncess assigns a two character alpha identifier to each ship, and Caribbean Princess is CB.

I don't recall which ship is CP, but it was already taken when CB came into the fleet.

The entire list is floating about somewhere on the Princess forum.

Well, according to the list, which is back on page 4, CP is actually Sea Princess, while Coral Princess is CO.

That list says Crown Princess will be KP.

I've bumped it back to page one so others can look at it.

FWIW, this is a direct link to the current list.

Sea Princess predated Coral Princess, so presumably laid claim to CP for phonetic reasons. What I don't know was what designator was given to the original Crown Princess, which might shed some light on how CP came to be available at the time.
