Sanitary bags not available

On the Star, sanitary bags nowhere to be seen in public toilets or cabin. 

 

Are they normally supplied?

I saw some in my cabin last cruise, although I am of an age where I don't require them any more, so I didn't look closely and therefore don't know how many there were.  Request some from your cabin steward if you need them.  Public facilities might be a little more hit-and-miss.

Under no circumstances should you try to flush sanitary items. They just don't fit through the very small pipes used in the vacuum system and you will be charged for repair of the plumbing if you plug it up.
