We were on a charter on the Nieuw Amsterdam last week. Hope they have sanitized the ship and are enforcing Masking. Many passengers are reporting coming down with Covid while on last week’s  cruise. The Malt Shop Cruise has its own Facebook page - that’s where people are reporting. Out of our group of 6, 3 caught Covid while onboard.

I don't believe there is a current masking policy other than at your own discretion.  There isn't even any mandatory testing.  We go on the 4th of December and got our latest booster (and flu shots) last week so at least we can tamp down on getting seriously ill.

Thanks for the heads up.  We board the NA tomorrow--for four weeks!  We plan to avoid group get-togethers (which we've been doing since 2012) and have our masks that we plan to wear.  We've cruised during most months since July 2021.  Got covid once--on another cruise line, darn it!  It's the wild west out there for sure. We have our latest booster and have our fingers crossed.
