Ft. Lauderdale/ Port Everglades boarding for Walker

Hello.  I use a rollator/walker and have never been to the terminals (HAL specifically) in Port Everglades.  Is there anywhere special I need to go or will there be someone to direct me when I get off the parking shuttle?  I  get huge anxiety when I don't have arrival planned out somewhere I'm not familiar with.  The last thing I want to do is queue up and find out I'm in the wrong line or it deadends at an escalator and I can't get out.  I know, it sounds irrational but it has happened to me before.  Thank you for any assistance.  I did call HAL but they did not have an answer for me.

I would ask this on the HAL forum where you will get responses from HAL cruisers who have sailed out of Port Everglades: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/103-holland-america-line/

I know I have seen the terminal staff identify passengers using walkers, wheelchairs, and canes and providing guidance or, if needed, calling for special assistance.

Once you enter the terminal ask one of the staff members where assistance is available. They will advise you where to wait. Normally cruise staff are assigned to help you get onto the ship and it depends how many employees are assigned to that task.
