Laundry Pricing

Hi, we are on a 5 Day Cruise over the Holidays. Does anyone have pricing for a laundry package for this length of a cruise and what each package includes? Specifically, do they iron the washed clothing?

$7/day US, $9/day Europe. so $35 or $45. Shirts come back either folded or on hangers, but I never noticed if they had pressed 'lines'. They are ready to wear. It is also possible to have items ONLY pressed, and there is a full-trip pressing package: $4/day for all days. But I do not believe you need to buy laundry AND pressing -- never heard of anyone doing that...

Clothing is steam/pressed.  I was impressed when I watched a pair of pants and shirt inflated followed with a brief moment of steam.  Some items are also placed on the steam table presser.

I just pd $6. p/day unlimeted/74=444. cabin total. Was told if we wait & buy on ship the price is going up.well see.

Pre-Covid, I have been on a number of HAL Behind the Scenes ship tours with the opportunity to take lots of photos and learn how ships operate out of the passenger's view.

 

FWIW with the exception of the ship officer's shirts, all of the crew uniforms are made in the ship's Tailor Shop.
