Gregoroy55 Posted November 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2022 Good day to all, I’m about to head out on a Holland America cruise (aboard the Oosterdam) and read somewhere that no water bottles are allowed. Does this mean the disposable, one use kind? Or does it include the kind which are continually refilled as well? Thanks for any guidance.
Rare LHT28 Posted November 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2022 I would ask on the HAL forum https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/103-holland-america-line/
Rare VMax1700 Posted November 15, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2022 Plastic disposable bottles are not permitted, but there is no problem with the refillable type of water bottle. For any other questions or information come over to the HAL board here..... https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/103-holland-america-line/
Rare Essiesmom Posted November 15, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2022 It means you cannot bring bottles of water onboard. You can bring on your own refillable container. Sometimes they even give them to you, or sell them in the shops. My sister always carried a 24-32oz camelback bottle with insulated holder. Here is a picture of some of the bottles I have carried or been given:
