Weight restriction on railway excursion.

I booked an excursion on the train in Panama and then saw a weight max of 300lb. Hubby is 320 but doesn't look it. Do they really weigh you? If yes, where? At the dock? Don't want to board a bus to train station then get told no and be stuck. Ugh, this is a bummer. I understand a weight limit on a zip line, but a train?

I think many times the inclusion of a weight limit is just boiler plating for liability reasons. If as you say he doesn't look it and there are not any mobility issues that would call attention to him, I would be shocked they would even have the equipment necessary for a weigh in.

Appreciate the response.
