Christmas Themed Events?

We're on the Miracle for the 12/18 - 12/23 sailing and I"m wondering if there will be any Holiday themed events or deck parties.

It's not Christmas week yet for our sailing so was curioius what others have seen or experienced in the past.  Thanks!

On Panorama 1st week of December last year and there was a holiday themed show, ugly sweater competition and other holiday themed activities that I can’t remember.

So then as Christmas approaches I wanted to share a list of some of the events that will feature on all of our ships for the month of December. Take a look and see just why this a brilliant time to sail with us.

SPIRIT OF THE SEASON MOMENTS - nightly atrium celebrations filled with Christmas Fun

Tree Lighting – Lighting of the Christmas Tree on embark night! A magical moment where the grand Christmas tree in the Atrium will be lit with spectacular lights and synchronized with wonderful, heartwarming holiday music.

 

*Let it Snow - Caroling and an Ugly Sweater Competition. (Put on your most festive ugly sweater and get ready to compete for a prize! Hosted by the Cruise Director, we celebrate the spirit of the holiday season as we combine holiday magic with a little Carnival fun! Guests of all ages are encouraged to bring their ugliest Christmas sweater for this fun competition). (Holiday Attire Competition in AUS)

* 'Tis the Season - Celebrate the magic of Christmas with our very own Christmas Caroling event. Sing-a-long to holiday classics in your most festive attire! (There will even be a surprise visit from Santa!!)

 

CHRISTMAS SHOW

*A magical show that’s sure to make your heart grow three sizes, with singers, dancers and a surprise guest flown in from the North Pole! A highlight of the cruise, this wonderful spectacular show in the main show lounge evokes a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere with its cozy set featuring comfy cushions and throws, a Christmas tree and of course, a visit from Santa.

 

HOLIDAY MOVIES

* Holiday movies will be shown on ships that feature the Carnival Seaside Theater or in a lounge for ships without a big screen on Lido

 

HOLIDAY TRIVIA

* Find out how much you know about the most wonderful time of the year with our cheery holiday trivia - the line-up includes Holiday Trivia, Holiday Radio, Holiday Movie and TV Trivia and Guess That Song Christmas Music.

 

CHRISTMAS BINGO

* It's the most wonderful time of the year for BINGO! Wear a holiday sweater and get an extra card free with purchase!

 

THE GRINCH APPEARANCES

* The Grinch will be making appearances around the ship during the month of December as well.

 

HOLIDAY SERVICES

CHRISTMAS AND HANUKAH SERVICES - Join us for a special non-denominational Christmas service as we celebrate the season with warm stories, uplifting hymns and prayer. This service will take place on December 24th or December 25th.

*Hanukkah Service – Starting December 18th please join us for a special Hanukah service as we celebrate with traditional foods, songs, and prayer. This service will take place each night of Hanukkah.

So there you go, a truly wonderous time to cruise so if not this year, maybe next year we will see you and your family enjoying a Christmas/Holiday cruise with us.

my memory might be a little challenged, but i think the holiday movies on our last Dec cruise were Elf and Miracle on 34th St.  

 

we board the Spirit next weekend so i'll know more in 10 days.  

 

dont remember holiday trivia whatsoever, sounds fun!
