Anyone stay here night(s) before or after a cruise?  ay or Nay?

We’ve stayed her a couple times pre cruise.  The location is great, right on the beach and walking distance to lots of restaurants.  The rooms were dated, but clean.  Definitely not a good place to stay in late February thru March as it is full of spring breakers.

We did a day stay here while waiting for our flight. It was fine the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be beat. I would stay here again.

Another time to avoid is when Fort Lauderdale holds the Tortuga Music Festival on the beach just north of the hotel.  In 2023 that is April 14 -16 with headliners Eric Church, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney.  The beach, the sidewalks and the traffic are loud and crowded.  And the room prices on the festival website are $800 per night (not a typo) for the B Ocean!
