BEYOND Current Capacity Limits

For past passengers or anyone currently on the BEYOND, below is a quote in bold, from the Roll Call for our upcoming January 8, 2023 sailing.  Is there any validity to this statement as far as the current capicity. I'd like to think it's valid but am very skeptical.

 

"We are booked to go on this Cruise.  When I talked to the cruise line, they had fenced the ship to only have 1600 passengers (about half capacity) and of that they are at 80%.  That will be nice if true to not have as big of crowds."

We just disembarked on Sunday, and for our sailing we had approximately 2800 guests onboard.

Thank you for validating what I was very sure was "hogwash"!! Going to post this on the Roll Call to set realistic expectations for most likely this sailing as well as the 5 nighter we have booked on January 3rd.

Absolutely not!

We had no trouble getting seated at any of the dining rooms and besides the shortage of sommeliers, the service was outstanding.

So many posts that are so off base.   We were on the TA with bad weather and if you relied on social media the Retreat roof collapsed, the hot tubs were destroyed, the elephant sculpture was blown Over and laying on the deck and the ship was coming apart.  The only semblance of truth was a plexiglass panel on 1 of the hot tubs cracked.
