Temps LA to Hawaii January

We sailed MX Riv in Oct some years ago & it was too cool to get in the pool as we came back up the coast.

Is it likely to be warm enough to sit by the pool on sea days to & from the islands?

The first couple and the last couple of days at sea, not likely. The closer to Hawaii, the warmer it will get.

 

Of course, if your ship has an enclosed pool area...

It depends on when the cruise is and what you consider "warm enough".

 

We did a 15 day Hawaii trip in Oct and there was only one day I'd say it wasn't warm enough.
