Recent experience disembarking in SF?

I am planning on having a friend pick us up after a cruise in SF in a few weeks.  Would like to know how it is going, any worse case scenarios?   Want to plan ahead to avoid problems if we can.  Thanks.

We had someone pick us up recently, after the sold out Thanksgiving cruise. We didn't call him until we were walking off the ship at 9:30. We figured it was easier for us to wait,  even for 40 minutes,  than have him come too soon. There was a steady stream of cars coming in. No issues.

We had a 9:30 pick up scheduled earlier this year.  We were off so fast we wish we had made it earlier.  Disembark didn't present any issues for us.
