aururab Posted December 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2022 I have a question regarding what information is needed to check in 45 days in advance for the cruise. It says we have to take photos, but my kids will likely be in school while I do it. Can I just upload pictures of them and my husband, or do they need to be with me to take an actual photo? Skip it and do it while checking in at the port, might take a extra minute or two.
Parrotheadtoo Posted December 31, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2022 (edited) The Port terminal check in staff can take a cruisers picture via their IPad. Very easy. Edited December 31, 2022 by Parrotheadtoo error
cruise1957 Posted December 31, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2022 you can do the check in and then go back and add the photo if you want to.
Mum2Mercury Posted December 31, 2022 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2022 I took pictures myself once -- and Royal re-took them in the terminal anyway. Now I purposefully skip the photograph portion of Check-in.

Thanks for clarifying that! I am checking in everyone for our group. What info do I need?
cruise1957 Posted January 2, 2023 #8 Share Posted January 2, 2023 You don't need anything to get a check in time. As soon as you start check in you get a time, then you can go back and add everything else later. I woke up at 2AM by coincidence on the night of our check in, clicked to check in, and went back to sleep, added all the info later in the day, just have to click on edit check in. LeeW Posted January 2, 2023 #9 Share Posted January 2, 2023 Checkin typically opens around midnight port location on checkin day. With app you can skip everything and just get the port arrival time and fill in rest later. Online has you do personal data, credit card, emergency contact, passport/id and photos before you do the arrival time. If you have security photos and photos of passport on your computer you can use those.
