Dawnveino Posted January 2, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2023 The excursion only has a single photo and I’m hoping others have reviews or photos. or even confirmation about where the bungalows are located so I can look it up on my own. this is all I can find
c-leg5 Posted January 2, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2023 (edited) That photo doesn’t look familiar. Here is an old thread where it was discussed and I presume is still current for excursions, although there are three resorts I believe that also have over the water accommodations i believe on Roatan. LeeW Posted January 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2023 Turquoise Bay is an AI resort on the NE end of Roatan. Fairly long bus trip from Coxen Hole. Three levels of experience, normal (chairs/umbrellas with food and drinks), VIP which has enclosed beach beds and upgraded lunch and the overwater bungalow. We did the standard and photo below shows all three levels. Water is smooth bottom, no decent snorkeling. Restrooms closer to the VIP area on a upper level shelf. Food at normal level was fine, they added steak and lobster for VIP. Some hammocks and tables in water.

I see they are affiliated with Mayan Princess now. I think it is about 30 - 40 minute ride from Coxen Hole?
