Kids are desperate to visit the Turtle Centre when we dock in George Town-taxis look top dollar so wondering if it’s better to just book the excursion?

has anyone visited there or done the excursion?

thank you!

We did this in 2018. We all enjoyed it.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes (we over packed) so that you and the kids can enjoy getting in the water with the young sea turtles and also enjoy the pool/waterslide area. Lunch was included. There are also lots of birds and reptiles to see and touch.

The bus ride isn't great but by going with the MSC excursion, you have full access as well as the included food. There are different levels (different colored wristbands) so depending on what you purchase on your own, you might not get full access/included lunch.

@Two Wheels Only thank you for this! I had wondered about the bus journey and in fact hadn’t even thought about food being included so I need to check that out on the excursion details. Good to hear it’s worth doing and the tip to wear swimmers (I too would have inevitably overpacked!!)
