Any experience with the pig encounters?

I'm looking at a few different vendors, and believe it or not the one through Royal Caribbean seems to be the cheapest! Go figure! Has anyone done any of these? I think the ones I am looking at all go to Pearl Island.

These excursions are mimicking exuma, where feral pigs have lived for years, but instead they just bring farm pigs to a beach. It makes no sense to me.

Just did this last week, complete waste of time and money. There is no swimming, just standing in line for a photo taken by the excursion company (no phones or cameras allowed) that they then sell you.

Not that swimming with them is a better experience, after they poop and pee in the water… 😳😳

Thanks all for the info!! That's what I was afraid of and I wanted to be sure. I think I'll be doing a food tour instead that day.
