Epic Christmas/New Year 2023/2024

We have sailed on the Spirit many times over Christmas/New Year and the Jade for the Greek Islands . This Christmas / New Year we were on the Sun.

 

NCL have the Epic for 2023/2024. I know it;s a much larger ship with some bathroom configuration that seems strange ....on the other ships we have had a heavy bathroom door so you don't hear the fan during the night. The Epic seems to have a plastic door to both toilet and shower room . Have past cruisers on the Epic found this a problem ?

 

Any advice on the best deck/cabin midships ?...one reviewer said the deck 8 balconies are  wider.

Thanks for any comments ... we are complete novices with regard to the bigger ships.

We have sailed on the Epic 8 times and have zero issues with the room configuration. I don’t know of a cruise ship bathroom with a “fan”. All have HVAC returns to pull air. 
 

If you are really shy around the spouse, pull the privacy curtain between the bed and shower while showering.
