Please help with Norwegian cruise itinerary!

Hi all,

We're trying to decide between several cruises to Norway in 2023. We are interested in seeing the fjords and love beautiful scenery, wildlife, and exploring small villages over cities and museums. We would prefer as few sea days as possible, except of course where needed to view the fjords. Which of these cruises do you think have the best itinerary? Husband expressed interest in also seeing the Northern Lights, but I believe the cruises that go to the Northern Lights in the fall don't include viewing of the fjords. Thoughts? Thank you in advance for any suggestions based on your experience!

My family and I are booked on the V315 starting June 6.

Last September my mother and I did a Norway cruise on the QM2 in September. Generally we had to get up early to see the fjords as at that time of year, it would be getting dark when the ship cruised back through the fjords to depart for the evening .

 

We enjoyed the scenery of the smaller ports, the larger cities, while scenic, were not quite so exciting.

 

Choose between the cruises based on which appear to cover the areas you are most interested in seeing.

 

Maybe I will see you on board in June.

I would also choose the itinerary which goes to the Lofoten Islands… we went to the Lofoten with Cunard in 2019- it was magnificent!
