The Other Tom Posted January 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2023 We're on the Northern Lights cruise in February, but not using Viking air (if that makes a difference). Anyway, it seems like Verifly would duplicate info that I already have. Is there a reason I should do it? Thanks
Jim Avery Posted January 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2023 Never did it on last months trip on the Sea. Useless hackable third party app imho. Viking already has all my information.

Opinica Posted January 17, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2023 Not necessary for our Nov-Dec cruise from Spain to the states. Can't wait to delete that loathsome app.
KBs mum Posted January 17, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2023 Viking haven't mentioned it to us, they just want our NHS app proof of covid vaccination.
Haworth Posted January 17, 2023 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2023 In your My Viking Journey it gives detailed country by country requirements, that’s what we followed, just in transit to Miami, boarding the Star tomorrow

Not a single person ever asked for that either in December

We keep an up to date printout with passport and insurance document, in case a country does an overnight policy change
Wander58 Posted January 20, 2023 #9 Share Posted January 20, 2023 We are headed to the Amazon on Viking Sky next month. Got an email from Viking today indicating that they wanted us to use the Verifly app. I re-installed it as I do remember using it for the Viking Iceland cruise in 2021 and uploaded our covid docs. We had to show them in Iceland when checking in. If we need to have them 'verified' when we get to the ship - I'll definitely question why we bothered with Verifly.
