Bahamian Dollars Exchange

My husband used a Royal Bank of Canada ATM in Nassau to get some cash on our stop there in December.  Unfortunately, he didn't notice that the ATM only provided Bahamian $ (not US $), and so ended up with Bahama $300.  It was a Sunday, so he couldn't go into the bank to ask them to do anything about it, and it was our only port stop in the Bahamas.  I've contacted RBC here (in the US) and they said they can't exchange Bahamian $ for US $.  I've checked with Travelex, local Bank of America, and other institutions, and none of them will do the exchange either.

Short of scheduling another cruise that visits Nassau (or Freeport, I guess), or traveling to Canada, I'm at a loss.  Any suggestions?

Find friends that cruise and are going to Nassau. Easy exchange at 1 for 1, since they are equivalent. Or post on a local chat page and offer a small discount.

Your local bank won't do it? My boss had about $600 Bahamian money left after her trip and I took it to the bank and they exchanged it.

Could you please find out which bank she used?  The banks I've checked with have said that Bahamian $ are not on their list of foreign currencies that they deal with.  I'd love to find one that does!
