Iona question - pools and jacuzzis?

This may seem silly but in 3 weeks we are doing the Iona half term European cruise along with a grand daughter who is keen on swimming and jacuzzis so the question is which pools/jacuzzis (if any) might we find operational (ie heated and running!) at this chilly time of the year. Having been upgraded from lower inside cabins (thank you P&O) to one of the ‘open to the world’ balcony midship cabins on deck 8 we find there is a jacuzzi adjacent - but will it be operational?

I would very much think so. You can leave her in jacuzzi while you sit on the balcony with a hot.drink.

Probably depends where you're going. We were on Iona in november in the Canaries and used the jacuzzi quite a lot. There are a lot of them to chose from.

We were on Iona in October Northern Europe. All of the jacuzzi were nice and warm and open.

Just wrapped ourselves in lots of towels as it was cold on deck.

Thanks, all, for the info on jacuzzis - we are off on 11 Feb to Hamburg, Rotterdam etc at probably the coolest possible time!

I have just come off Iona and all pools and Jacuzzis were operational and very much in use!

I think there is a minimum age.

There is also a  pool and jacuzzi indoors, in the skydome!  Have checked and children over age of 8 accompanied by an adult can use the jacuzzis.
