Crown Princess FCCs

We received an email from Princess that said we would receive 50% FCC for each of us after the 5/7/22 Crown Princess cruise to Alaska, as long as we booked by 1/1/23 and sailed by 1/1/24.  We booked back to back cruises for April 2023.  We were calling to pay our balances and use the FCCs and they are telling us that we had to book by May 1st (we weren’t even on the cruise yet) and sail by Dec 1, 2022 so they took back our 30% FCCs and they’re only going to give us the 20% FCCs!!  They had already applied the full 50% FCCs to one of our April 2023 cruises and then removed it and said it was expired!!  I can’t believe they’re lying to us when they put it in writing!!  They obviously have typos in their system since their info doesn’t match the email they sent us.  Has anyone had this problem??

Do you have a TA or CVP?  If you have proof you should be able to fight this.

If you booked directly with PCL, call and get this escalated and ask for customer solutions.  You will have to explain everything before they will transfer.

If final payment is due, this is urgent.

There is no way you would have to book it by May 1st, as you didn’t leave until

May 7th.  So they wouldn’t have even put these FCC’s in your account for quite a while.

Did you see the FCC in your account?  Do you see them now?  Did you get an email from them or was it just a letter from the Crown that you received on the cruise?

Ask others on your roll call if they have the same problem.

Call them right away.  Let us know what they do.

We finally got the situation with our FCC’s resolved and got the 50% that we were told we would get!!  We made multiple calls and got transferred over & over again over many days, but thank goodness our Personal Vacation Planner was able to deal with Guest Services and get it taken care of.  Thanks for all the info.

So often OPs do not return to the board.  Thank you for keeping us updated.  Always nice to see that you were able to get this resolved.
