Here’s your port of Miami exit. This is technically called “Government cut” on this side.

Star Island is where The Bee Gees, Gloria Estefan and all the rich people

lived until they developed Fisher Island a few decades ago.

South Pointe Park is where everyone goes to watch the parade of ships.

I’m up all the way forward.

casino is hammered busy. I was able to convert about 50% of my free play to cash.

MAJOR COMPLAINT - The public toilets near say casino and forward theatre are TINY. Single stall and one urinal. Ladies, yours can’t be much better. Too small for those areas.

BTW, I’m able to stream the Cin vs KC game on my phone. Watching in my cabin.

My initial reaction to the ship, other than massive, is it’s a bit confusing and lots of hall spaces. Maybe that feeling will diminish once everyone settles in and starts spreading out.

I do feel some motion, not enough to bother me, it’s gentle, but every once in a while BAM like some big wave hits.

Oh, speaking of casino….

I figured it out and it’s 2.50 per point, half of most land casinos who do $5 pp on slots and 2.50 on VP….no idea how they rate VP

The slots are, for the most part, cashless. You put in your door key card, give your birthday info and you’re logged in. Then, download money off S&S account or any free play and you’re off. When you’re done, you cash out by pushing the red button on your personal screen to download it back to your account..

There is no TITO. You put cash in, but cash that out onto your card, meaning the final night must be a pain in the butt to cash out.

There are tv screens over the table games and the bar showing the game.

Thanks for the Live review! Looking forward to it.

How is it on the 14th floor? Do you notice much movement?

Debating between the 14th or the 9th on Celebration.

Which side do you see more of the shoreline? Port or Starboard?

Looking at a Western cruise- I prefer to see the port instead of the ocean - which side on the Celebration is better for that? Port or Starboard?

I answered you in the other thread.
I am all the way forward on 14 port.

we feel a little movement, just gentle rocking, other than the occasional “bump” of a big wave.

By what method (game) were you able to get that conversion rate? With blackjack I've managed anywhere from 25-150%.

The biggest "promo" chip I've ever played was at Beau Rivage. I think I had almost $1,000 in freeplay. They gave me a bunch of greens and one $500 (I didn't think to ask for it to be broken down). I played the greens first. After they were all spent I went ahead and threw up the $500 on a single spot. As could be expected, I ended up with a hand to double. To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure if I won or not. Perhaps I've blocked that from my memory, lol!

I play slots. But I don’t play minimums. It makes a difference.

You better believe it !  I rarely play slots or VP, but one must bet "max" (or nearly max) if you want a big payout, which is the whole point in my opinion. I suppose there are some that play the minimum to pass the time or get free drinks.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY EVACUATION HAPPENING

Its now 1:30 pm, Lee came on at 1 and said a helicopter is coming in an hour (2pm) and all upper and outdoor areas had to closed off. If in an aft cabin, stay inside.

no other details, other than their asking for prayers and wishes.
